Knowledge preparation is one part of becoming a certified sailor
Use Compass before and between instruction to strengthen the knowledge layer. Certification still comes through the applicable sailing school and instructor process, including practical performance.
2. Learn and perform afloat
Practice boat handling and crew work under appropriate instruction. Online completion cannot establish this competence.
3. Complete the applicable assessment
An authorized school and instructor determine certification under the relevant scheme; Compass has no role in awarding it.
