On a vessel's sidelights, what colour marks the starboard side?

Short answer

Green

Under the COLREGs, a vessel's starboard sidelight is green and its port sidelight is red. Lateral-mark colours are region-specific: starboard-hand marks are green in IALA Region A but red in Region B.
