Can I Charter with Day Skipper?
Understand why the answer depends on the operator, destination, vessel and your experience—not one certificate name.
Short answer
A Day Skipper practical certificate is accepted by some charter operators for suitable yachts and cruising areas, but it never guarantees a booking. Operators may also require an ICC, radio certificate, sailing CV, experienced second crew member or additional evidence.
